Electric pressure washers require a corded connection to a wall outlet, whereas gas pressure washers do not.

Electric pressure washers offer benefits as well. For starters  they typically cost less than gas pressure washers. Electric pressure washers feature a simpler design, resulting in a lower cost of production. If you're on a budget, you may want to choose an electric pressure washer.

Electric pressure washers don't produce emissions. They operate cleanly by consuming electricity. The same can't be said for gas pressure washers. Gas pressure washers consume gasoline. When burned, gasoline produces emissions.

Another benefit of choosing an electric pressure washer is ease of maintenance. Both gas and electric pressure washers require maintenance. Electric models, however, require less maintenance than gas models. With a gas pressure washer, you'll have to change the oil on a regular basis. Failure to change the oil could result in damage to the motor or other components.

You can use an electric pressure washer in enclosed spaces. Many workers and consumers, for example, use them garages. Gas pressure washers, conversely, should only be used in open, outdoor spaces. This is because they produce combustion gases. If used in an enclosed space, gas pressure washers may produce a dangerous amount of combustion gases.
